This tournament will follow a Standard (SUN and MOON-- onward) format. (See "Standard Format" further below for more information.)

Championship Points for this tournament apply to the 2019 season. This is a Premier event, so players can earn points toward a 2019 World Championship invite by placing well.

Free parking is available in the parking lot of the venue.

== Registration ==

We are capping this event at 60 players due to fire code. The registration fee is $16 per player across all divisions.

Refund requests are allowed through Thursday, December 13, 2018, 11:59pm EST. NO REFUNDS will be given after this point, even if a registered player does not show up at the event.

== Check-in ==

Check-in will start at 11:00am and end at 12:00pm. (Note: Please register online once link goes live. If spots are full, you will not be able to register at the store unless there are empty spots.)

Players arriving after check-in closes may be added to the tournament with a first round loss. Seating WILL NOT be guaranteed for any players (including those registered) arriving after round one begins. Players WILL NOT be added after round one has ended.

== Standard Format ==

The following expansions will be used for this event:

Cards from each new expansion will become legal on the third Friday of the same month the expansion was released.

Promo cards such as those found in Pokémon TCG Boxes and Collections will be legal on the first or third Friday of the month after the product is released.

== Player Meeting and Tournament Start Time ==

First, to recap. check-in is from 11:00am-12:00pm sharp.

After that, the player meeting is scheduled to begin at 12:15pm. You will either hand in your deck list at this meeting, or the head judge will choose to collect the deck lists ahead of time to speed up the event and stay on time. We'll let you know when you check-in.

The tournament proper is scheduled to begin at 12:30pm. You are responsible for being present for checkin, the player meeting, and all rounds.

== Rounds ==

Play will be single game swiss rounds (30 minutes + 3 turns) with a top cut of 8 players (60 minutes, best 2 out of 3). Please bring a 60 card standard deck (XY—BREAKthrough onward), a matching deck list, a pen with a cap (recommended), damage counters, and a (tournament legal) coin or die.

== League Cup Prizes ==

Prizes are awarded to the top players in each of three age divisions (Junior, Senior, and Masters). Participants will receive 2 Play! Points just for playing. First Place will also receive a League Cup playmat.
